Practicing Using Netscape Composer

I just used the largest heading -- a level 1 heading -- by clicking on Format/Heading and selecting Level 1. Now I will use  a Level 2 heading after first formatting individual words. And I will also create a link to three search engines:
  1. Yahoo
  2. Lycos
  3. Dogpile

Making a Background Color

Right clicking will bring up a menu where I can select page properties, allowing me to select a background color or even insert a background image. I can also use the General Tab to insert information that will be used by search engines to pick up my site.
 

Inserting an Image

I will now insert an image of a dancing clown.
I can position the text around the clown by right clicking on the clown and selecting the Image Properties window. Note the horizontal rule below.

Including My Entire Web page in a Table 595 Pixels Wide

To avoid having your viewer scroll back and forth in case his/her display settings are less than 800 by 600 pixels, we copied this entire page into a table 595 pixels wide. Use Edit/Select All and then Edit/Cut. Then click on the Table button, and choose a table with one column and one row -- a single cell. Then use Edit/Paste to insert the page into the table.
