The Owls Little League team is off to a great start toward winning the State championship this years. Coach Billings gives several reason for their bright future in the League:

1. They practice three times a week while other teams only practice once.
2. They have five returning players from last year's championship team.
3. Three of the umpires in the League are fathers of Owl players.

Owls beat Jets 5-0

• They all brought their gloves.
• Parents showed up to cheer them on.
• The weather was freezing cold, but all the Owl players had jackets while the Jets had to play in their short-sleeves causing several players to drop ground balls (using here the TT tag) because they were shivering so hard.
