Meet Ellen's beloved Molly who brings joy to nursing home residents

Ellen not only is helpful to others by giving so much time to RTC working on our newsletter, she also gives of her time and love to Project PUP (Pets Uplifting People) by regular visits to a nursing home with her heartwarming dog Molly. Read Ellen's own words describing her relationship with her very special pet and friend Molly:

Ellen's therapy dog Molly"We trained together since she was a puppy," Ellen writes, "and it took one year of solid work to get her an obedience title and approved for therapy work. She holds the AKC obedience title of C.G.C. (Canine Good Citizen). We also completed an advanced 'trick' class. I really love my dog so anything on papillons brings a smile to my face.

"It was a goal of mine when I retired to use my skills as a guidance counselor combined with my love of dogs to continue to help people. Molly and I have been with Project PUP for 4 years. So when you asked me if I still go with her--the answer will always be a yes because I am so committed to helping people even in my retirement. And my Molly is such a crowd pleaser!"
