A. Create the letter in Figure A-16 on page A-21.. Save it on your diskette as morrisletter. Instead of ending with the name "Jessica Grange", use your own name. Also make these changes:

1. Boldface five words
2. Italicized five words
3. Make the font Arial
4. Make the text size 14
5. Make the left and right margins 1 inch
6. Using Edit/Replace, replace each September with November.
7. Be sure to do a final save it on your diskette as morris letter.
8. Print it and put it in your work-folder.

B. Do the Visual Workshop on page B-26. Be sure to use the Elegant Letter Template

1. Be sure to use the tab key rather than the space key to indent each paragraph.
2. Save your letter on your diskette as elegant letter.
3. Print your letter and put it in your work-folder.

C. Do Independent Challenge 1 on pages C-21 and C-22. Be sure to use the WD C-3.doc on data folder.

1. Change the name of the construction company to your own name.
2. Save the document as estimate on your diskette.
3. Print your document and put it in your work folder.

D. Do the Visual Workshop on page C-24. Use the WD C-7.doc found in your data folder.

1. Change the name of The Melting Pot Cafe to Your Name Cafe.
2. Save the document as menu on your diskette.
3. Print your menu and put it into your work folder.

E. Do the Independent Challenge 1 on page D-26.

1. Change the name of Small World Catering to your own name.
2. Be sure your document is saved on your diskette with the name small world.
3. Print your final document and put it into your work folder.

F. Do the Independent Challenge 2 on D-27.

1. Save the document as your name parking on your diskette.
2. Print your final document and put it into your work folder.

G. Do Independent Challenge 4 on page D-29.

1. Type in your name at the top of your document.
2. Save your document as mla style.
3. Instead of doing step d to do your own search for an MLA Guide on the Internet, use the MLA Guide at http://www.spcollege.edu/central/libonline/path/mla_master.htm
4. Print your document and insert it into your folder.
